Refund policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy 

To all the customers associated with Shadygators or ordering for the first time, we aim to provide a smooth customer experience. Thus, we have designed our cancellation policies by keeping our valuable customers in mind subject to the following terms & conditions: 

Full Order Cancellation

  • You can simply place an order cancellation request by sending an email to shop@shadygators.in 
  • We would accept the order cancellation only if the products have not been dispatched from our end. If the products have already been dispatch then no cancellation is allowed. 

Partial Order Cancellation

  • We don’t accept partial cancellation from any of our customers. Unfortunately, no refunds will be made in case of a partial order return or its cancellation.

Returns 

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and will be provided you in form of store credits, which will be sent to you via email. The validity of the store credits will be 6 months from the date issued. Additionally there will be an imposition of INR 150 as product carrier charges, which would be adjusted in the store credits. (for eg. you made a purchase of INR 1000, Store credits issued to you will be 1000-150=850) 

In case of Snapmint orders the amount will be credited back to the customer to its original payment method.

Late refunds (if applicable) 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your mail account again.  

If you’ve checked your mail and still did not receive your store credits or coupon yet, please contact us at shop@shadygators.in 

Sale/Discounted items (if applicable) 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale and discounted items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at shop@shadygators.in to place the request and our team will get back to you for providing assistance regarding the same. If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed, additionally INR 150 would be levied as carrier charges. 

BUY and SELL PROGRAM

After understanding the need of our customers we realized that since we are in quick fashion industry, customer should have the leverage to adapt to the changing trends and style.

In order to solve this for our customers we have started the BUY and SELL program.

Through this program we intend to empower our customer to sell their used glasses within 3 months and get credits of worth 50% of the amount they have spend on purchasing that particular product. They can use this credit to buy something else on our website.

Please Note

- The product needs to be good condition without any damage on the body or lens
- Customer has to send live images and videos before sending the products
- INR150 will be levied on customer as the processing and shipping fee or customer can send the product to the warehouse directly, in that case no shipping cost will be charged
- Once the product reaches the warehouse it will then go through a quality check and post which team will share the confirmation on return. In case the product condition does not quality team will ship back the product

Shipping Terms for Returning the Product

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the returned product to reach Shady Gators and other subsequent factors. 

Prescription Lenses: Please note that prescription lenses are custom-made to your specifications and therefore are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances, unless there is a manufacturing defect.

WARRANTY

Warranty Timeline
- One year conditional warranty is offered on all our Luxury Collection, applicable from the date of delivery.

Warranty Includes:
- This warranty includes: damages caused to the product due to corrosion, rusting, coating burst/peel off, peeling of color and color fading.

Warranty Excludes:
- The Shadygators warranty does not cover: Product breakage, scratches, damages caused by accident, mishandling, negligence, shock, tampering and loss of components or accessories, improper use or storage of the product; unauthorized modifications or repairs; normal wear & tear.

Warranty Conditions:
- This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period.
- This warranty is valid only when purchased through www.shadygators.in
- The decision of the company on the nature of the defects and applicability of the warranty will be final.
- The company will, in no event be liable or obligated for the payments/refund of any special incidental or consequential damages
- Please note, for replacement against warranty, shipping charges for both ways are to be borne by customers.

Warranty Requirements:
- Please ensure all three requirements below are met for us to process your warranty claim:
- Please email the pictures of the product to be duly validated to shop@shadygators.in along with the Order ID and registered Email ID.
- Pack all the product properly in One single box to avoid any transit related damage.
- Please send back all accessories received along with the product to avoid any delays in claim.
